Does anyone want to recommend any good Horse Racing books?
Prefer National Hunt but just a good read will do. Many thanks in advance.

Men and horses I have known.
George Lambton, an incredible read of horseracing in the late 19th century.

Sods I have cut on the turf
Jack Leach.

The Barry Brogan Story.

All I thoroughly enjoyed, and I am easily bored.

What are the odds, by Bill Waterhouse. The story of one of the biggest bookies in Australia if not the world. May be putting my copy of this book on Ebay in next week or so.

Was there a similar thread on non fiction racing books? Does anyone have a link to it? Cheers SS.

@Somerset Sam -- The books in this thread are non-fiction but a quick search turns up these threads and there are doubtless far more:-

Harry Findlay's book wont win you any money but will entertain you and point out the perils of gambling. When I say entertain, it depends on your mindset.

Tony 10.    An incredible true story of a Paddy Power shop manager who  used his position to illegally win £10,000,000  over a period of months and lost it all and more. I really enjoyed it. On Amazon I believe. Tony 10 was his user name.
