ahh right Pablo - I thought you were timing from Live to video - I was wondering how you were getting live pics. my pics usually about 3.6/7/8 from video to sky - havent timed today but Its usually that.

I can't make sense of it TBH. I was working on the assumption that RTV were using Phenix 0.5s streaming. This assumption can't have been right. RTV/Phenix must've been using a slower codec because you can't stream anything with 0.1s delay (0.5 - 0.4)

Busy few hours trying to get on the Jeremy Vine show, emailing the Times about Drones and speaking with RTV.
As know doubt everyone has now spotted, the low latency stream went live with audio and pics together at 3.30 yesterday. RTV wanted to check no issues overnight before confirming it as full time as of today. Ireland was being integrated at some stage today, but a quick look through the thread suggests that has been done. Right I'm off to make my millions! |

Ireland still a tad slower bootman. Being picky here but it is about .15 to .2 slower than uk ones
So maybe they still bit to do ireland. Great work again though, your efforts have been superb |

Southern Ireland is always going to be a fraction slower due to an extra stop, with a different ISP provider. I think Northern Irish tracks should be the same.

Seriously though, whilst I have got streaming/broadcast/networking knowledge, I was guessing somewhat at the inner-working at RTV. I'm still guessing, but at least the guessing is educated. Who cares? Whilst this forum's main purpose is to provide a platform to slaughter one another, the only one's really taking a hit are the drone owners |
