"Future Racing bets are subject to a maximum payment of £250,000" from Paddy Power t&cs

OK you got me. Maybe that's why I don't bet with Paddy Power!  Crazy

Anyway, for this bet they've confirmed they'll pay the full half a million and a bit.

Before Royal Ascot last year Bob Olinger had won a PTP and a bumper - if anyone was confident enough on that evidence to back him at 25/1 for the Ballymore in almost a year's time, well, they are an absolute genius.

GL to the fella but surely when you have
these bets you know what it comes to,
Especially A/P bets.
Comes to £1/2M and then you ask what
their max payout is.

Ramruna, have you checked with Barry? Btw who is employed by PPBF and not PP? Maybe he should check his contract for severance limits IYO?

@glentoby are you offering a price on Orr being sacked tomorrow for paying out too much on this bet?

Strange how a photo of the bet on display in the Daily Mail lists the first two as ante post bets but not the last three which still had 9 months left to go before the races

Ramruma it says underneath that the exceptions to the £1 million payout.. "Future Racing bets are subject to a maximum payment of £250,000"

You would think his jumping was safer than Monkfish, but even so it seems a no-brainer to cash-out.

I thought that but I checked and an antepost bet now on next years festival doesn't state antepost on the bet

@giggitygiggity -- you are right. Lucky I don't bet with PP or win half a million on accas.

Anyway for this bet it is moot because they've said they'll pay up.

Funny how on a positive story for racing we've had two pages of negativity.

I will be happy to lay your missus ramruna, providing A.Under 40 B.Better shape than Miss Piggy aka Norfolk trainer C. Less wrinkles and D.You deny me the opportunity due to travel restrictions!!!!

All that apart try and stick to the theme of fishing rather than contractual law and Baz's agreement with BF?CoolWink

I hope he's an understanding bank manager. If so, just 'lay' the beast at 1/2: 'lay' £200k/£250k to win mega bucks regardless.

By:

both him and david jennings gave an horse for this years cheltenham  week after last years festival.....so if he watched the show its possible to have backed it

think gavin lynch tipped envoi allen as well but sure it was bigger than 9\2 for the marsh but its possible by june the price would be shorter

A few queries:

a) Why are they offering to cover the full odds, despite their max payout? It is virtually double. That is a hefty bit of advertising.
b) I presume it was done online. Do you not get an online warning, that your accumulator odds surpass their max payout?
c) With the cashout facility, can you vary the amounts you can take or is it just take this or let it ride'?
d) Staggered at picking the right races. The odds of that alone, must have been fairly large

Never really done this sort of thing, so no idea

By:
carrot1960
When: 17 Mar 21 23:46
According to his screenshot of the bet he had over 20k in the account when he placed the bet , since when did punters with 20k in the account put on £5.00 acc's
By:

That made me question it when I first saw it but I just think he's probably had some of the horses in other accas that have already copped. Somebody earlier in the thread said he'd already had a 55k treble up but I've not seen any evidence of that (not disputing it has happened).

In the full story he won loads before, not sure why he would have 20k sitting in a betting account but then again it is probably safer than a bank. Mischief
