The horse is emaciated. In that position one can definitely straddle the horse with both feet on the ground. Also the shoe prints in the sand on the left of the photo should be compared to Elliott's shoes.

If real it was taken years ago. Someone mentioned it was a snapchat so back then it was automatically deleted after 40 seconds, after it's looked at. Problem is someone take a screenshot of the snapchat before that happens. Also mentioned that the quality of the pic is bad because it's a screenshot of a picture.

Let's hope it turns out to be fake.

And quite right too.It would be madness to comment on social media whilst the investigation is taking place.

Easy to prove or disprove in these days of forensic advances! Especially if it's old!

we dont no forensic evidence we need someone to ask elliott at naas and if he,s not there, might tell us all we need to no ,
or are you suggesting as long as no one can prove it one way or another we,ll forget about it
By:
elise
When: 28 Feb 21 13:57
they won't forget about it they've said he's helping the ihrb, so at this stage it's him and them until they make a statement
By:

Don't start an argument with me. Where in any of my posts have I said it should be forgotten. I've said it's horrible. We just need a decision on authenticity!

Is it Elliott's gallops in the background ? Would be difficult to photoshop Elliott, a dead horse onto a photo of his gallops and why would anyone want to take all the bother to do so ?

with 4 strong chances at cheltenham, cheveley park stud declined to comment on the situation.
By:

i think it looks like the intersection of his two round gallops yes, but what i agree with above somewhere is that he looks a bit younger and yet the photo was supposedly taken last june (mail i think)

its a decent photoshop if it is..imo the right knee has an unnatural look about it..way to straight cut.

Right knee resting against the horse. Perfectly natural sitting in that position on a horse lying like that.

Anyone know where I can get this degree in Photoshop everyone seems to have? Might be quite useful.

The longer this goes on without comment from either Elliott or the IHRB the likelier it is to be real. It surely wouldn't take this long to offer up an update for something carrying so much weight?
By:

The physics of it.

Surely he would squish the horse?
Surely his trousers would split?

Is it even possible for someone in his condition to sit that low with his legs spread?

How did he get back up?

Not having a go at overweight people...just facts.

I’ll file this away alongside all the other completely idiotic things people did to ruin their careers.

If they didn't like the minority sport before this, they sure arent going to like it now.

why should he explain it if it is'nt true?
He's not up in court.
It suddenly appears with Cheltenham near.
By:

When: 28 Feb 21 14:41
i'd say because it's defamation of his character, it could be believed and he's allowing the sport to be dragged through the mud, he's made a statement (or the ihrb have) so adding it's a fake to it wouldn't have taken much and would have ended the issue for a lot of people
By:

thats the point he,s made a statement but didnt say if it was true or not
who no,s maybe the story behind the fit up in someone,s opinion is worse than the photo, cant think what but thar ya go
By:
the dealer

He said he is helping with the enquiry, with possible libel action against the mail and maybe criminal charges brought, I can't see what more people can expect but to await further developments.

Imagine thinking this a legit photo. You must be thicker than 2 short planks if you do. Animal rights, horse racing hating, Labour/Liberal voting goons have created this(NAP)
By:

When: 28 Feb 21 14:47
If it's not true then you knock it on the head asap especially now that the mainstream media have latched onto the story. I thought that would be the obvious thing to do. No repercussions even if you are helping the IHRB with the investigation.

Theres virtually a straight line down where this elbow is, I use photoshop daily and it doesnt look right to me that part nor the knee, the rest though is pretty decent work if photoshopped.

The apparent silence from Elliott while strange might be down to the fact a criminal investigation could be under way extortion etc. or he could be in deep trouble and advised not to say anymore - take your pick.
