i agree robo but elliott worked his way up from nothing to be one of the top trainers in ireland. hes not stupid. thats the reason i think it has to be photoshopped .

From the pic on the Dail Mail's website, where is the lower half of Elliott's left ear?

It looks like a skin transplant that's gone wrong.

The hoss looks a tad emaciated perhaps?

No expert but looks undernourished, or been dead a while?

have my doubts that it is genuine either way.

The horse in the photo looks like the image horse welfare charities use to raise funds. It's certainly not a thoroughbred racehorse that's died on the gallops. In my opinion the whole thing is a very poor fake by someone who has a grudge against the trainer.

the statement "cooperating with the ihrb" doesn't sound much like "retract these lies or i'll sue the fecking @rse off yer", could end this in seconds with his lawyer

so a photo that as we speak is dragging the sport through the mud and can be put to bed with one statement is been allowed to be shown on MSM all over the world , only one question WHY,can only be one answer

It was to carry the heading

"Flogging a dead horse"

but they couldn't manipulate a Colin Tizzard photo enough to photoshop it.

If it's photoshopped then that is easy to deny and prove and a solicitor and a writ would sort it within minutes especially for someone like Elliott with his connections in Ireland. Interesting to know which ever way who has a grudge big enough to do this to him ?

As stated above what is the reason for this against Elliott??  False or not
By:

Think Elliott's had a couple too many. He appears a few eggs short of a dozen.

Are you saying it's photoshopped because you hope it is. You say it doesn't look right, but exactly where does it not look right? To me it seems very difficult to get a photo of Elliott in the exact pose to fit over the horse. If you look at the Mail photo, which is the only one I've looked at, the horse is a perfect fit under him, no gaps whatsoever. There is no visually raised line on the back of the left trouser leg- a line that could  be seen in superimposed photos. The position of Elliot's head in relation to the vertical white railing post in the background looks very realistic. To sum up-I hope this is a photoshop job because if it isn't, it's absolutely horrible. The fact that there's no immediate denial accompanied by a threat of legal action is also very interesting. This is either a true photo or an example of a really professional attempt to discredit him. It would take a lot of money & effort to get a photo like this if it's false. My verdict-I don't know, but if I was Elliot, I'd get a denial out quick, threaten legal action & get a forensic technician to examine the photo asap!

looks photoshoped to me, there's a purple cast near his left ear and left hand from a reflected light source that's not consitent with the lighting in the rest of the photo.

Needs resolved very quickly - public can't cope with dead animals especially in racing despite the facts of there near universal high quality care.  Two things - that is his gallops and secondly I've dealt with plenty dead horses unfortunately and this doesn't look real at all.  The equivocal response might well be linked to criminal investigation.
