why would a top trainer pose for a picture like
that? The person who took it would always have the
upper hand in the event of a fallout. If found out
owners could leave in droves and finish him.
Class trainer,Elliott,hope it's a fake,find it
sickening,myself.

There are a lot of Twitter comments to the effect that it appears Photoshopped, and pointing to artificially straight lines at the elbow and trousers.

However, it is concerning that Elliott did not deny it immediately, which leads people to think that at best Elliott could not be sure it was fake, though it is more likely that Elliott was told by the IHRB to keep his trap shut while they investigated.

someone must'have some type of grudge against
the bloke to post a picture like that.

Hope it is photoshopped. If it is, who would do that and why? Maybe a disgruntled former employee? Why didn't Gordon deny it immediately?

I hope they get down to the bottom of this today as it will be damaging even if it is a fake. Plenty of talk on twitter, was being speculated that the horse in question is Easywork who died of a heart attack on the gallops. That seems unlikely though as that happened a week before Xmas and they don't look to be dressed for winter. A lot of consternation has arisen from the lack of denial in Elliot's tweet but I wouldn't read too much into that just yet. I'm taking people's word that it is definitely his gallops so if fake hopefully all that needs doing is to find the original photo of Gordon making the peace sign (or two grand national wins, whatever) and go from there.

Gordon’s not the brightest but I’m also surprised that, if he’s an innocent party, he didn’t issue an immediate response denying the legitimacy of the image.

Hard to put a finger on it, but photo doesn't look quite right although as cash is king says ,Gordon's not the brightest.

Shouldn't be too difficult to prove its veracity.

Regarding if it is photoshopped, I suppose it's now worrying that no-one has yet come up with the original photo. Someone claimed to have it in reply to Elliott's tweet last night but presumably was bullsh*tting.

There is a pic of Elliott doing the V for victory sign when photo'd with Michael O'Leary and Tiger Roll, but he's wearing a different bodywarmer and shirt.

Not really worth commenting until something is proven either way. The people who are saying it is photo shopped is that because the alternative is too shocking to comprehend?

The people who are saying it’s photoshopped don’t have a clue , nor do the people who say it’s real . Whichever it is , it’s very damaging for the sport , because if he’s given the all clear , then people will automatically assume ( and possibly correctly ) that it’s been buried under the magic carpet again . The racing fraternity have a propensity for pushing undesirable stuff underneath the magic carpet , and not just racing related matters either

But robo you have never said anything positive about Racing in your life.
