Gary from Gruss here. It definitely is a false positive. It appears to be an issue with AVG and Avast. We are going to follow this up with them. The only thing you can do at the moment is to add it to your exceptions list in your anti virus settings.

I dont have the anti virus issues but I do have issues with the bets tabs on the right hand side - everything is bigger and clunkier looking. Also if you try and edit a bet (change the odds/amount) its alot more difficult than previous.

We took that change out. If you close and re-open the application it will auto update. The only thing that should be different then is the bigger X to cancel.

if you want to re-install AVG later, writz, you can click on Betting Assistant on AVG quarantine pop-up and have the option to 'reinstall as an exception' (or words to that effect)
