Some newcomers are just too sensitive, intransigent and not conducive to a society that values freedom of speech and thoughts. A square peg in a round one is never gonna work.

People will always believe what they want irrespective of evidence or lack of. Look at all the arguing on every subject from brexit to covid.
This country has a history of expelling or crushing one type of religious doctrine or another and it never really helped.
Only 2 ways it gets sorted. 1 discovery of aliens or 2 communism.

There are muslim children in many French schools and you don't have to show them cartoons of mohammed to give an example of freedom of speech.

Dusty, if you think Communism or Socialism is the way to go I suggest you take a visit to the Stazi prison in Berlin, we went there last year and the sheer horror of what the East Germans as they were then went through was simply staggering , our guide told us that it was her husband who shipped her to the Stazi police , people lived in terror of everyone, you didn't know who was spying on you and you could be sent to these horrible prisons on someones whim. No freedom of speech , no meeting up with others unless they were Government approved etc..If you get a chance pop over and see for yourself what these poor people injured in the name of Socialism...

Those cartoons were offensive, and weren't appropriate to be shown in a class of students whether they wanted to view them or not.

The cartoons were re-published on the day the Charlie Ebdo murder trial began.


That was the ignition point.

Communism is the natural end of socialism where people have to be forced into complying with the state rather than their own self interest.
I wasnt supporting either, simply pointing out its the only way to rid a land of faith.
Look at China, how many protests are there from muslims over issues of faith?

In a Muslim country they have the right to teach what they want. They have no right to tell a non Muslim population in a non Muslim country what they can and cannot do. Feck em.

Why you telling me this?
All I was doing was saying we have a history of expelling different faiths from this country and it didnt do much good, its still full of religious fruits and the only 2 ways you can address religious irrationalism is either finding aliens (since all religion is made in the minds of man, who never thought aliens might exists) or communism that doesnt allow for religion.

The reason been you seem to think that getting rid of the problem is by banning religion, the real problem is the Governments who stop people expressing themselves .All the mass murders didn't believe in God , Stalin Hitler, Mao , Pol Pot, Lenin. So its not the religions that's the problem , its the lunatics who create their OWN versions  .

Socialism isnt communism. Socialism is CO-OPS and subsidised services. Communism is just what happens when the wheels of socialism start to fall off as people work less hard for the good of others than they do under the premis they can take out as much as they want.

The idea that the religious are free to threaten me by insinuating they are the chosen ones and Im going to be punished simply based on their own mental illness is pretty onerous and shouldnt be allowed.

The saying I remember was that we are all atheist....its just that non believers go one god further.
