UK stewards drink port.  Irish ones drink Guinness.

what I mean is, stewards in the USA are often quick to DQ horses and put them behind the horse they impeded. the UK stewards are way more lenient and you have to assault the horse and push the jockey off to maybe get your position revered. what about in Ireland?

Fair bit of money stolen there

2nd drifted 1.5pts from 2.5 to 4 in the last 20 secs before final suspend
Winner shortened to 1.3

Gutted - Backed the runner-up at 100 pre-race.  Cry

Handicap Mark now RUINED, too

Laid plenty back in-running - and some more in the Stewards - for a fair profit ...

- but  just missed  out on a much bigger one. Sad

A winner who denies the runner-up 'reasonable' opportunity of winning, ought to be demoted imo
Staggering what it takes to get chucked out on both sides of the pond. Two crazy extremes
