As Champions Day is an independent event Betfair have been able to secure a lower latency feed for Ascot 17th Oct, as a one off that wouldn’t usually be available for this track. Therefore users will experience noticeably faster pictures when watching these races via our website stream.

Would not expect the RTV graphics no, as its not a production from that channel.

I predict that watching on minimum it will still be pausing and jittery, does not matter how fast the stream will be if the platform that it is produced on can't support itCrazy

As champions day is a stand alone event, similar to the Breeders Cup, the streaming rights are not exclusively owned by ATR. RMG own the streaming rights and operate with a lower latency (faster pictures) so this will only be in use for Champions Day. All other fixtures at Ascot fall under the rights owned by ATR so its not something we can utilize for other fixtures. We currently stream Racing TV tracks in a similar fashion so would not expect there to be any issues with how the stream performs.

You might want to do some research RTV track pictures aren’t that much faster than your ATR tracks at present granted with pictures pausing and stuttering most races it will appear their a lot slower, either way your in running picture speeds and quality are diabolical and have been for a while & I know “it’s not your fault” blah blah blah, we’ll if this is the best you can offer at present you shouldn’t be still hitting us with the premium charge.

It certainly is an unusual statement to say the BFLV for RTV tracks is under 1s behind live.
Are these trumponian ‘alternative facts’?
