have they reduced the costs due to all restrictions

looked like a lot of tickets are for the middle of course and no access to the paddock for most

and the rest are miles past the post on the bend. And, with depressing certainty, the site has gone down for ticket purchases. And the Mayor thinks it's a bad idea.
Report punts August 28, 2020 6:32 PM BST
you just knew the website wouldn't be able to cope..
Report The Knight August 28, 2020 7:17 PM BST
Just managed to get on the site.

I just don't get this. What is the point of having a trial where the racegoers will be put into places the vast majority would never go? (Centre of course or past the first bend - overlooking the Leger start.) What kind of trial is that? Like me going to test drive a BMW and the dealer only letting me test drive a Skoda!

This just looks like box ticking and bears little resemblance to the majority of midweek meetings where under 1k are present. What the situation will be for those kind of meetings come October 1st is still my main interest.

But the other thing is the Doncaster pricing? Honestly, are they kidding at £55 per pop down to £25 for such reduced access to the course? Be interested to see what the next tranche of tickets are for...and at what price.

elisjohn, Yes, agree with you about the York thing.

I had that package in same year, as well. Made a nice change from the norm.

truehoncho, do you read that as it being compulsory to arrive at 9.30am? It seems to imply ("strictly") that you will not be allowed in later...hence the breakfast. If so, that is insane. You have to spend  7 1/2 hours + in the same room? Madness.
