By:
Franconia has never done the distance and only run in good or better ground yet shorter than her stablemate who was 2nd fav to Love at Epsom.
|
By:
Love to beat Manuela De Vega....the trip, track and going will all suit De Vega.
|
By:

|
By:

|
By:
de vega getting smashed up, think this could floor the jolly. massive run expected.
|
By:
Franconia a monster price win 10.0 and 3 place 1.8.
|
By:
From what we have seen so far from all the horses in this race Love looks a class above. To me 1.51 looks a great bet
|
By:
No evidence to think the 3yos are much yet but only the one 4yo.
|
By:
jesus, who was punting de vega. put me right away, had no chance.
|
By:
Gosden didn't even get any black type.

By:
be surprised if enable can beat love in the arc.
|
By:
cheers ta
|
By:
Love will improve for that a bundle too. Enable I love but not beating Love in the Arc I am afraid.
|
By:
I would go for the Leger. Little chance against Enable and others in Arc.
|
By:
well done winners
|
By:
Yes well done. 8 to finish in first 2 was amazing.
|
By:
Beat nowt today. Salisbury listed race winner 2nd.
|
By:
Love is special.....but come on now, Enable would have done exactly the same to that field.
|
By:
Cracking shout MM well done
|
By:
Yeah its beat nothing today and I didn't back it far to short though
But poor field |

If anyone doubted her before the race they got the answer there. She is a special horse. The stable has had plenty of stars before and they say this one is in their top 3.

Most knew this was a penalty kick for Love. And today's race told us she'd travel upfront with the pace and still run her race. Imagine Love tracking Enable until the 2f pole in The Arc? The Arc will be this way bound, Ireland or UK, I believe. Bye, bye France!
|
By:
I hope all the doubters will be laying her at decent odds on here for the Arc. Will someone stick up 3/1 or bigger if you feel that confident?
|
By:
After today she has beaten ONE older horse.
|
By:
Sometimes you have to use your eyes and just see what is in front of you regardless of what horses are in behind. She's clearly special, winning all her races this year very easily. Must go very close in the Arc.
|
By:
Gold Wand an over-ran Love beat at Epsom just won; Sea Of Class just lost out to Enable. And, Love is far superior to Sea Of Class on form; wfa allowance is the significant bonus too.
|
By:
Nobody is doubting how talented she is but as howard has pointed out, she's only beat one older horse and it looked like the going dried out too much for her today. Ask yourself this, how close would an Alpinista or an Ennitsymon (beaten in a listed race last week) get to Enable?
|
By:
The ground was a bit dead, according to Moore. And, she's a better filly on better ground. I think it's disingenuous to use Alpinsta and Ennistysmon as reliable yardstick to compare her to Enable. Surely no one can say Love is not a better horse than Sea Of Love on form.
Why did Enable duck the race? Is Enable improving? Is Enable giving weight to Love? Enable is 3/1 fav for the Arc. As such, what price Love ought to be? 3/1 or less; a non-improving horse giving weight to an improving one winning 2 Classic easily. With the above info and at present prices I know where my money will be on, all things being equal. |
By:
Love is a general 9/4 shot and current fav for the Arc.
Love at this moment in time hasnt raced against anything like the calibre Enable put to the sword at Ascot as a 3yo. Her Oaks run was equally as impressive, and i think she had better horses in behind her both there and at the Curragh. That race against Sea Of Class was the year of the less than ideal Arc preparation wasnt it ? Love looks a serious horse, but we are only going to know her capabilities when she actually races against something of substance. I cant see what shes done to be fav at the minute, its likely going to come up soft as it tends to do and then its likely to be excuse time if she gets beat, I realise Enable will be giving 5-7 lb i cant recall how much, but its because shes not as mature a horse and all things being equal she should still be inferior as a 3yo, I seriously would not be taking her in a match bet against a seasoned pro like Enable at this stage. Still we all have opinions. |
By:
Didn't Sea Of Class beat a Grand Prix de Saint Cloud winner at York? Nothing of that calibre in today's race.
