placed a multiple today 5 winners a loser and star shield for 2 places only,got 2nd after winner disq but they say star shield a loser because bet not each way,it did not have to be because i took a price in the 2 to be placed market,contacted live chat 6 times but a complete utter waste of time not fit for purpose. waitng on reply to email but looks like i will have to take this further.

let me try to decipher:

placed a multiple

they say the bet is not EW

it did not have to be because I took a price in the 2tp market

quite simple had a super heinz backed 6 horses to win and one horse to be placed and they say star shield was a loser becase bet was not each way. but dont worry there will be a job waiting for you on live chat george.

there was a dispute on football forum, "foxes v seagulls" its still there have a look, theres an email where a few contacted escalations@betfair.com and some got hold of peterjackson@betfair.com .

Betfair customer services know nothing about betting, they just look up your question on a computer and give the generic answer 'computer says'. I never use sportsbook, prices are terrible and other alternatives give far better odds. Today my 4 fold is 56,000-1 (on sportsbook it would have been 36,000-1)

still no settlement awful customer service for what is now a company not a shadow of what it used to be. They just dont care . So i back a horse in the 2 to be placed market it finished 2nd and they say it is a loser. you could not make it up.
