Dorset trainer Colin Tizzard was reported 'delighted' with Native River's performance in the U.S. last night. Sent off 13-8 favourite, the popular horse made all to win a shade cosily.
'We didn't know much about the jockey. look, but he was told to get to the front and just stay there,' reported the thrilled trainer. " Another one came alongside but Native swatted him away. We were worried about the trip being a bit on the short side, and of course, the dirt was all new. But his class has seen him through."
