waited a long time to land it, yu look at many of these gambles and see a bit of form somewhere that might warrant the improvement but you would have needed the proverbial crystal ball and some to find that, unless of course you were in the know.

The apparent improvement in form of the winner, ALEATRONIC (IRE) which had never previously been placed, was considered. Martin Smith was interviewed. His comments that the gelding had benefitted from a better draw and a more experienced rider on this occasion were noted ALEATRONIC (IRE) was routine tested.

Yes,but that's why it's called "gambling" and anything goes.
Some are clever at cheating, and others get caught.
No complaints here.

Not sure who is doing the catching.I would love to see the long list of people  they have caught.

Personally i don't think this is that bad a scenario to be called cheating as such. Horse has only had a few runs, 1st 3 in fair C3/4 maidens last year followed by a few runs over hurdles, lots of horses don't take to jumping but they will have got the horse fitter, followed by an 8 1/2 length 9/14 over yesterdays C/D but not that far,just 4 1/2 lengths behind yesterdays fav ridden by a claimer who hasn't ridden a winner. That Fav had ran in what i thought was a terrible race at Kempton where it ran 2nd, so imo the horse has come on for its previous run where it was clearly just having a sighter but didn't have a huge amount to make up on 2 of the favs considering its few runs. A lot worse examples of blatant cheating i'd say, think they landed a gamble well.

Even after it went up from 20 to 35 it still had a stone to find on the figures. It'll probably go up to about 49 or 50, run in a poor handicap going off at 5-4 and get stuffed out of sight.

Entered in 0-60 Apprentice handicap at Southwell on Tuesday over a mile and a half.  OR 53.  Jacob Clark (7) back up.  I'll be surprised if it's not unplaced.
