daq were 10 behind on a rtv race last week.

they didn't have it y'day, delay was about 6secs behind bf, didn't time today

So the consensus is that the fastest browser setting of BFLV on ATR tracks is 1s or so slower?

if start/stop clear the cache and cookies, it did the trick for me. around 0.5 slower then when on flash, measuring to coralTV

Can anyone shed any light on why the BF vid wont play on either my laptop or the missus (just get a black screen) but plays fine on my pc. Trying google chrome on all 3 devices - deleted the cookies etc but still nowt on the laptops.

Settings>site settings> allow flash > ask first> then you should get a pop up when the lv screen opens to allow flash

click top right 3 dots>settings>advanced settings>site settings>flash

make sure the slider is on right to 'ask 1st'

Very strange - the Video works fine for RUK but just blank screen for ATR. (never tried the LV for RUK before - so stumped why it works for one and not the other)

exact same thing on FF.

When I open up Advanced Settings on chrome  - I dont see Site Settings listed. Just have Privacy/Passwords/web content/network/languages....etc

I thought that was it sorted duffy - but still just get a blank screen for the ATR vid on the laptop.

The laptop is fairly old so maybe thats the issue - but it works fine for the RUK stuff. Daq vids play fine on it but its now unplayable with the delay. Very odd altogether.

Dusty - ATR haven't phoned when they were supposed to and I haven't had time to chase yet.

Regard the pictures, I reckon they are around 1.7 behind live, but have to say i've been disappointed with the number of races that have been affected by pausing/ not being fluent. I'm not going to bother betting on any of the ATR a/w tracks for a while.

No luck with the laptop - but got the "picture in picture" mode working on the pc for the video and sure that will do the job.

BLV for SSR/ATR tracks does not use Flash any more so enabling Flash won't help.

Jack is correct, the new ATR stream is the Flash replacement.

ATR no longer use Flash, you have to enable JavaScript. Click on the padlock then site settings and allow JavaScript.

Maybe because you don't have JavaScript enabled in Chrome. It works fine on both for me.

It does for me. Make sure you have the latest version installed as it has been upgraded recently and is now based on Chromium like the Chrome browser.

That’s a ridiculous way of looking at it tips, RTV are bringing out a service which will make the smallest discrepancy in advantage there has ever been at no cost and your not willing to invest £10-£25 a month. Even if you don’t use the TV pictures I think you should be backing them because ATR don’t give a monkeys and aren’t the slightest bit interested in delays and inrunning markets and if they ever got all the rights it would put back inrunning 10/20 years.

I haven’t explained myself very clearly, even if people are only using blv from April, they should still pay the £10-£25 for RTV even if they don’t use the tv pictures cos they are slower than blv. The reason they should be backing the company who are listening & brought in the smallest delay, without going on track, face time or an office in the old days
Is the alternative with ATR is grim. Also if there is a problem with blv you’ve got back up to watch it on RTV. I’m starting to sound like I work for RTV, I don’t I just hope people see the bigger picture and back RTV, instead of trying to save £10-£25 a month because it’s faster on blv.

I think RTV will find many subscribers ditch if the BLV becomes a playable /faster /reliable option.

We dont get to shape the businesses who supply the pictures and make their decisions for them, all we can do is support those that further an environment of integrity. The subs are going towards the suppliers of fast pictures.

Then had their own Live product supply a fast feed for a price.

You can subscribe to the skysports for a price (RTV) and in addition you can pay a HD fee to get it in more clarity (fast pics)

But you cant have the fast pics without already being an RTV subscriber.

I f rtv can product faster pics to betfair why not give them to their customers I am sure many would be willing to pay for them much more than their current price

a faster pics service by rtv would benefit relatively more existing punters than ft but also significantly less punters than the new model potentially would, the HBF project that has been behind this is keen to increase levy and punter interest in racing (as i interpret it), so the fact you dont even need to bet first now to watch makes it as open as possible and gives it every chance, people have asked for a faster pics service for 15+ years they would have considered it many times

will these faster pics be ever available to rtv customers I just dont get why they would not be level with the pics they are providing for betfair?
