Its not just the ground, its horses that have no experience of it and jockeys who have forgotten how slow you need to go to get round.

I live 8 miles from the racecourse and i can confirm the ground will be desperate today.Apart from today it hasn't stopped raining for the best part of a fortnight.Even my golf club has had to close in recent days and THAT is as rare as hens teeth.
