For a bit of 'fun' Crazy, most days I will be putting up 4 selections for an Unlucky 15 and a straight EW acca.

Stakes

£1 win Unlucky 15 (or possibly EW if they're huge prices) and a £1 EW acca, at a cost of £17 (or £30 if opting to do the Unlucky 15 each way with no acca).

So £17 / day could potentially = losses of around £500 /  month Scared. This could turn ugly Devil

Added interest (admittedly my own)

A level stakes profit / loss will be kept on the selections at the early odds.

Rules

As I'll need all the help I can get, prices will be settled at BOG.

One winner on the Unlucky 15 will be settled at double the odds if no NRs.

For a second or two, thought I was going to turn the unlucky 15 / acca losses around when Watchable looked like hanging on but it wasn't to be.

I still had hope of a decent payday if Rianna Star could finish in the first 4, but there was a lot to be taken on trust, and after being up there for a while, she ended up dropping out the back of the telly.

Today's picks were all big prices and they pretty much lived up to market expectations. I was intrigued by the trainer switch for Red Cossack, but from an inside draw he's ended up quite wide on the track on the track under Jack Duern, off what seemed a steady pace, and perhaps he didn't shape too badly in the circumstances.
However, the bottom line is another 4 losers.

Having consumed just about the right amount of stella to have reached an intellectual zenith (hic Tongue Out), I've come to the decision to cut my losses and kill the thread off.

The bad news is the thread ends with losses from the acca / unluckies of over £500.

The surprising news is (and it's as big a shock to me as it is to you), the thread ends being over 300 points in profit (after 5% commission) to a single 1 point level stake at BFSP.

Now there's 'a moral of the story' in here somewhere, and that is the thread title didn't lie, hundreds down doing the multiples, hundreds (even thousands to just a £10 stake) up betting to a single point level stake.

Thanks to chav and stewy for providing the entertainment, and to all other contributors.

My next tipstering thread in the new year will definitely be to level stakes, with no multiples or EW betting!

I think it's a shame, George. It's been one of the most interesting threads of late, and I've followed you in a fair few times when I've fancied a lazy punt.

It is a bit of an eye opener when you see the difference between the two profit and loss figures. It's proof that it's far easier to get 'lucky' once in four selections, than twice.

Well played though George, you gave it a good go
Look forward to your next challenge
I like seeing your all weather picks, I meant to post when you picked out Cathdeans Fury(?) as I was on it as well, but I ran out of time
I do admit that sometimes I think why has he picked that but at least I know there'd be good reasoning behind it.
At the prices you were picking think theres bound to be a long time between drinks so to get the two in to turn the figures around is like waiting for the second coming.
Then again I must admit that I do 10p ew super yankees most aw meetings on a few outsiders, just in case. It don't cost much and you never know, yesterdays pay out would have been £2,000,000, I'm still here so you can guess which way it went, still keeps the dream alive!!!
