terrible record for returning placed Gold Cup Horse - Kauto , Denman etc all beaten plus imo he had a hard race. I would not back at 10/11

a race where if forced to choose something, the two fresher horses would make most appeal to me

I think it's a lay. If it can find a way of dodging it, it will.

What a stupid statement.
What has he ever dodged ?. The time he ran across the track at chelts he picked up again when whisper came at him. Any horse can fall and he lost absolutely nothing in defeat in the GC. If he gets beaten today it wont be attitude but maybe the effects of the GC on heavy ground and soft again today. |

My Nap came here last year and won after winning RSA, this looks an easier race.

First time hood trainer around 20% so positive good price but not too many disappointed from chelt so far and good break 4 weeks years ago used to be 2 weeks and we think of those times

Tough race last time. But as mentioned this is a lot easier.
Nicky is a good judge of these things normally. But even he can get the odd one wrong ! |

I have backed it, agree with olddesperado 100%. If it is beat then sobeit, but I think the 10/11 was/is overpriced.

Has to be the banker bet for your £50 bet at Aintree and get a £50 free bet for tomorrow tbh.

Rate reply: To my eye it wasn't that he didn't stay in the Gold Cup, it was that he had no appetite for a fight in the last hundred or so yards. When he tried to run out at Cheltenham the previous year, it was the sheer effort of De Boinville that got him straightened up to beat the handicapper Whisper. If you're are going to throw personal insults about at least keep up with the facts. |

Nice £50 win at 10/11 and thanks for the free £50 sportsbook bet because of it Betfair, otherwise would have bet it on the exchanges.

No problem kipling,
Sorry if I came over a bit sharp. I hate people knocking him without any basis purely because of kempton and the rsa last year when he was just a novice. Kempton was just one of those things and the rsa could have been any number of things and he was fine since. Horse is as genuine as they come imo but at least you put up why you think he's not in your second post and its a game of opinions after all. |

That's OK Oldsep. We all have our opinions. Might Bite won well yesterday but notice de Boinville kept him wide of the other horse. For a reason.
