is anyone finding the RP website is desperately slow today.....particularly when clicking on races to get runners

There's another error now, where all the horse profiles are showing the number of declarations rather than actual runners for each race it ran in. Be careful out there.

I still pay the essential rate, albeit there's only 2 or 3 features I need to make use of that aren't available for free.

the european tour (golf) developed a new site.
after a few weeks they pulled it as they realised it was sheet. perhaps this mob should do likewise. get their money back n go back to what they had for years. |

"RACING POST RACECARDS - TECHNICAL ISSUES UPDATED 2:58AM, SEP 12 2017 Due to technical issues we are currently experiencing difficulties displaying racecards and results. We are working urgently on a solution and apologise for the inconvenience and expect everything to be updated shortly". Note the date and time - This suggests that they worked through the night BUT if this IS RIGHT they were working to resolve a problem which had not yet occurred, AND it took over 24 hours to fix the problem. The Racing Post has become nothing but a SCAM!
They are quite willing to take exorbitant subscriptions from users in the full knowledge they might not be able to deliver the most basic and core aspect of their product. An educated guess as to their current issues - which has been intermittently regular for most of 2017 - probably lies in the fact that they may have outsourced their migration project to techy people in Eastern Europe or India who have no understanding of the product and the requirements of a racing audience. When you opt for the cheapest option you always get THE WORST result and an utterly RUBBISH product = RACING POST! |

They've co cked it up introducing these N/R occurrences into the horse's race history. Unfortunately, they kept reporting the N/R to be beaten by the maximum number of lengths in the particular race. Being corrected as we speak, I am reliably informed.
