Not Pricewise -- but he did move from Templegate at the Sun to the Racing Post. Did he start the betting bureau feature? Was he the replacement for Henry Rix, perhaps?

there was a period when pricewise was done by 3 or 4 people intermittently before Mel Collier did it permanently !

Sad news - Always liked him as a tipster, I remember him at Cheltenham in 2003 tipping up Royal Predica @ 50-1, Young Spartacus @ 25-1 and I think one other large priced winner. Think he left the RP soon after that.

How certain is Nick Fox's passing? It does not seem to be mentioned by either The Sun or the Racing Post. Might twitter have mixed him up with some other Fox (rip)?

@George.B -- thanks, I see it now.

We are sad to report the death of Nick Fox, who was Templegate from 1992 to 1998 and twice winner of the national press naps competition.
