Put £1000 on Hibs to win Scottish Championship at 11/10 before the season started. They are now general price 4/9. Have no interest in cashing out but cant find where on their site you can see how much they would offer.

Not all markets offer a cash out option, and this market may not offer a cash out option until later on in the season.

Online it used to show on the right hand side under open or unsettled bets. But as said there may not be an option on that market - and if there is, the offer will be very poor imo.

Hills will be extremely stingy on any cashback offered on this type of bet (short odds from the outset) so the only thing that you can do is to check the price on here during the course of the season

e.g. there is 30 at 1.59 to lay at the moment, if you took it

your bet is

1000 at 2.1 - potential profit 1100, potential loss 1000

becomes

1000 at 2.1 - potential profit 1082.30, potential loss 971.47

you could continue to do this through the course of the season dpending on your judgment of the lay price on here at the time

That is an excellent bet.

Hibs are a fine side in the context of how p ish scottish football currently is.

Lennon despite being an utter anus is also a decent manager and will ensure that Hibs dont take the foot of the pedal during the season.

As, you say, cash out should not be in your mind. They will win the league at a canter.

even if no cash out option its always an option if u call them . but as magic says they rip u off big time , i done it once with dif company was waiting on man u for over 13k no cash out in running called they offered 1800 i took it just got bad vibes , i was  right , but in general cash out is a real rip off ! fidway one of my m8s has put £100 on hibs to remain unbeaten in lg  5000/1
he still cant believe he put it on he was really drunk at the time ! CrazyLaugh

Not sure about this, I think greening up or at least minimising your liability by laying much shorter odds should be in your mind if the right opportunity presents itself.

I'm not saying that there is a mathematical proof about the right approach but what you seem to be saying aberdonia is that Hibs are a certainty to win the Scottish Championship. In that case, there is a tax free 44% rate of interest waiting for your money. Quite attractive rate in this day and age.

hibs to remain unbeaten in lg  5000/1

unblocked all mine yesterday. think some will be back on before close of play today Sad

that price just isnt right. even if it was for them to win all their games i doubt he would get that price, they just give no value to these type of bets.

which bookmaker was it?

I'm surprised you got on Fidway. GL with the bet. As for myself I have about eight bookmaker accounts, (all by phone) and only use them for the odd ante-post bet, a 'ticket' or an acca on the football.

I can only speak for myself but as far as I'm concerned Korals are the worst of the worst. The last time I phoned them was for a 100EW on a 9/2 shot approx. five years ago. I was offered a 75 win and a 25 place. I refused as it was hardly a life changing amount. Funnily enough I still remember the jockey....R.Hills.

No point in typing where it finished..

As long as you enjoy your punting Fidway. As for myself 8-9 months is a long time to wait for a return but a far better rate than the banks will give you if it obliges.
