I was giving this horse as a tip last time out, travelled like a dream got out battled near finish, Charlie hills horse must be big danger form behind murad khan looks good in this race

Al Khan isn't nailed on because he's obviously going back.
They were trying with him last time out after getting him well handicapped and he got beat after wandering about a bit.
Why did they put him over 8 instead of 7 lto after getting him ready?
They weren't aiming very high with him either.

The consistent 4yo Hakan has got to be respected.
Didn't run as a 2yo.
Two runs as a 3yo second on g/f up in class at Newmarket.
You'd think he'd be capable of winning this.

I thought it was a cert on Saturday and had a large win bet, I think it dogged it and will not be backing it today

Didn't like the way it faded last time out after travelling well. Last won over a year ago.

By the way, dutching the two market leaders here pays 4/5 at the moment.
5/6 was available earlier.

Going change has not helped Al Khan. Yet to put in a decent display on anything less than Good. Small field may offset as he does travel well into the race, so I think they may take a more prominent position and see if he can get a lead. He battles when let down, though he has to be kidded into position.

Dropped to a great weight again, same claimer as last time, loves the course, trip is not an issue….I bet it this morning before realising the change to G/S…my fault, but I can still see it being competitive.

Now worth doing as an 'in play' trade and see what tactics they will go with.  You can find issues with the 5 other runners, so Al Khan still has a shout but nowhere near as good on the softer going.
