I've done over 50 on here before today. Not all at ridiculously long prices but there weren't any odds-on favs. Some may remember Bush and HIS famous run now over 11 years ago which created a furore on here.

It stopped two or three years ago Sunny. Tbf I think it was a bit too much work for Reged who has continued to settle Div 3 in the Naps Comp. And he did have to put up with a fair amount of sniping.

i've emailed Karl, told him i've not laid any of the previous 45 losers but i'll lay this one if he sends me a fiver.
he can sit back & watch it win half the track ...

3:30 @ Worcester WINTER SPICE went close on his second outing in handicap company when third at Newton Abbot last month and ran on well that day, so it seems the right decision to step him up to 2m4f and he could easily improve.(ATR verdict)

ATR speed finger man(HOLA mousey! ) also napping this one SOSUME (nap) makes plenty of appeal in this 12-runner sprint handicap, as he posted a list-topping speed rating of 82 when finishing a close up third to Luxor over this trip at Wolverhampton last month, with the winner, second and fourth having franked the form since, either by winning or posting bigger figures.
Once raced in this sphere, and lightly raced overall, the selection has the potential to bounce back today, following a disappointing effort on the turf at Yarmouth last time out.
A 12-1 shot in the betting forecast, I'll definitely be a player and not a watcher at those kind of odds.

This could be his winner I would not lay this one. 12/1 in the betting forecast, around 9/2 now.
5/2 btn fav in a Yarmouth nursery last time, but previously ran his best race so far when first time on the AW. Back on the AW tonight and first time on polytrack. A decent speed figure and in retrospect that AW looks good, needs to step-up but lightly raced and conditions here could be ideal. Been well-backed in 3 of his 4 races 5/2 fav, 15/8, 2/1.

Has Heady spotted something?

I don't know what the longest losing sequence in the Naps Table was. Has anyone had more than 50 on the bounce (?)
Takes some doing to tip 50 losers in a row. I don't know what the longest losing sequence in the Naps Table was. Has anyone had more than 50 on the bounce (?)
3:25 @ Uttoxeter STATION MASTERUseful novice hurdler last season and the fact he's a dual-winning pointer provides hope that he can do even better over fences. Respected.
Only 11/2 shot. ATR speed finger man naps CONTENTED in the same race. I'd rather side with that + a few others over Heady's selection..

If I had 50 losers on the bounce I'd give up, my bank would be bust anyway and my confidence would be completely shattered ! How do you deal with a losing run like that. Or is Karl deliberately picking losers ???

Around 4 minutes 30 seconds in, Cattermole, asks this exact question to Hugh Taylor, the greatest tipster of all time, and for some reason Taylor goes off on a tangent and fudges the answer and in that moment the whole video is ruined.

Carpy, did he really fudge it? He gave an example of a winning gambler playing into an horrendous W-L ratio. Many people seem to remain disappointed and dissatisfied when receiving the answer to this question. Almost like they believe there's some sort of magical coping mechanism out there that they need to be told about. It's nothing more than truly understanding probabilities and fully accepting risk. +EV cisterns aren't immune to losing runs..and can't defy the probable laws within them. With a firm grasp of this, the only things that can leave you scrambling for answers on "coping" during whatever drawdowns.. is miscalculation(or constant fear of it) and uncomfortable staking. They obviously feed off each other and create a major problem where there shouldn't be one.

3:25 @ Wincanton Cabernet D'alene 14/1 pack outsider.. Had a productive season, winning 3 of his 7 starts, including here (18.6f) in January. Needs to bounce back from a poor effort when last seen 7 months ago, though.

4:15 @ Leopardstown Bucky Larson - 4/1 jolly. Gets the verdict of ATR BUCKY LARSON has been a consistent individual for Ger Lyons this season, having won twice over C&D earlier in the campaign, and his most recent effort at Naas suggests he is more than capable of taking a prize of this nature..as well as Timeform's BUCKY LARSON resumed progress when a close second at Naas and tops the shortlist.

3:40 @ Kempton CASABLANCA MIXFairly useful hurdler in France who took off over fences for new yard, sure to have completed an easy double in novice at Exeter 10 months ago had he not come down at the last. 138 could be lenient. 2/1 jolly

4:10 @ Worcester MONTY'S AWARDFair form over hurdles. Back on track after 7-months off (also had wind operation) when runner-up in novice here (2m) in August. Likely to find things tougher back in handicap company.
14/1. Another very competitive looking race..

Sobot sticks up another 100/1 shot, 4th this week. Also like Chris Wright (Liverpool Echo). His best bet out for today is Mah Mate Bob (Carlisle - 13:55). Betfair projected SP - 515/1

if chris wright thinks that's the best bet of the day he'll be happy sticking £100 of his own money on it at 1000/1 and donating the 100 grand (less commission and his stake) to Alder Hay Childrens Hospital ... or is he just trying to win the naps competition by recommending horses he wouldn't touch with a bargepole ??

Most of these newspaper tipsters are rubbish. There was an exception some decades ago when the rather...er...niche Morning Star had a guy ( Cayton ? something like that ) who won or was close to winning the Naps Table every year for many years. Rumour had it the paper only survived because of people buying it for his tips.
