BHA don't need to look for any initiatives as to how punters can lose more money. It appears you just take a mix of York racecourse, a little bit of rain and a bunch of dire jocks and hey presto job done. Bookmakers will be struggling to get the money off the track.

My two have gone to York Tatts instead of Perth.True they are winning but they're not taking a lot.In the Ebor they were topping the machine for the last 5 mins or so on Fields Of Athenry(awash with sweat) & still only stood it for a ton. They would definitely have taken more at Perth.

the Ebor is finished as a punters meeting, York went from the best track in Europe to one of the worst
they got hit today with Litigant, plenty of people knew that was laid out for it and got massive prices, that wasnt as good a result for them as the price suggests

Barton Bank I know what you mean with a lot of short ones being turned over but with 5 places in the big race today and 4 places in the sprint yesterday the races have not been disastrous for punters . If you were meaning on course bookmakers then I agree with you.

You get rubbish to swerve week after week and then you supposedly get quality racing and you get results like these. People are just going to divert money elsewhere or just keep it in their pockets. Anyone who thinks the past four days have been anything other than very bookmaker friendly must be living in cuckoo land. To get both Golden Horn and Acapulco turned over would have been enough on their own but they would have more than topped up today. Even Haggas who had a good meeting ended with two absolute stinkers so anyone who tried to get out on the trainer in form was left a little further up creek alley.

You don't have to answer that ! But views on the performance of best pitches appreciated. Your 'rep' must have been suicidal after those 50/1 and 33/1 results !!
