Great to see Alan looking so well.It's not too long ago that he was seriously ill &  he went through a 4 hr operation at Harley Street performed by one of the top surgeons in the country.He was that close to being a goner.

I like the way he asks the interviewer their opinion - always find that quite inclusive.

I really liked that horse he trained many seasons back called Turbo Linn. Nice dual purpose horse which won a group race in the summer having been winning bumpers in the early part of that year.

Last time I was talking to him he still had the old champ,Collier Hill at home.Anyone going on his website will be surprised at some of the horses he's had through his hands.He's sold some real uns to race in the far east.

How could I forget Collier Hill - the horse that began its career winning a Catterick bumper and ended it winning the Hong Kong VaseLaugh!
