From my previous experience, especially if you have a well known account it would be SP on the last leg or even the last 2 legs, so they can attempt to back the SP price down on course.

Whoever authorized that bet may have been sweating.

I used to have a lot of money in here but realised instead of earning interest for Betfair I could make a lot of money elsewhere, large amount went on facebook shares which have quadrupled :) expensive is clearly lying I am afraid but he's causing no harm, fair play to the lad.

I'd expect someone who's punting £1200 on a Moore five timer would have more than enough money to lay at 3/1 and still make a decent profit.

The screenshots do look real to me, it does seem obvious he didn't lay anything off though so I don't get all of the messing about with that bit.

Regarding them laying the bet, surely they would love taking accas like this all day long. They don't want to take fortunes (some pennies) on singles, but 5000/1 accas with the true price being a lot higher I cannot see why they wouldn't. Also seeing as the betslip number is over 3200 you can only assume the op has done his conkers over the months/years - and I wouldn't be surprised if he is VIP with them. But certainly not a propunter from what I have seen.

Either all of that or he's got a massive haul here and I am one of them!


PS - Not sure why Sir_Bond even has the audacity to comment after all of his editing bets over the years have been exposed on here.

So....the alleged bets were a  :-

Canadian  ( 26 bets @ £3 ).      = Total stake  £78
Lucky 31.   ( 31 bets @ £3 ).     =. Total stake £93

Four folds ?  It states a Total stake of £250, this would mean the necessary 6 bets would have to be staked at £41.66 each ) !!!!


And

Five fold accumulator? He originally posted stake was £200. Then posted a 'screen shot ' showing £220


In other words a total fantasy.

Oops !!  Sorry - my mistake ! Of course there are 5 four folds in a Canadian.

So that would have been  5 x £50 then ?

much has been made of the 200/220 thing -but does it not occur to anyone else that this can be understood as just a bit of shorthand from the writer?    Posting on the forum does not require a  legalistic degree of accuracy while remaining 'truthful'.       If I had won or lost a shedload of money and I was minded to come on the forum to blow off some steam about it, I could very well bang out an opening post that said '£200' (or £200,000) when the actual number was '220'.

Hmmm. But what I don't understand is why someone would have a bet over 5 horses that includes a £3 Lucky 31 and a £3 Canadian. Both including Fourfolds and an accumulator for a £3 bet. And then apparantly have a separate bet on Fourfolds for  a £50 stake on each perm. And a £200/£220 bet as an accumulator.

So extremes go from 5 x £3win singles - to £50 win Fourfolds  - and then a £200 accumulator.

Everyone who is saying it's done in acrobat or easy to do - why don't they do one with a different stake and prove that it's some dodgey put together fantasy bet. I will then say that it's fake, but to me it looks real - whether or not it is or isn't.

okay I've changed my stance on this - the evidence is starting to mount that it is pretence

but the points of interest still remain -  if people think that Hill's wouldn't have accepted the 5 fold

moore had a strong book on saturday , Telescope was a frankel like certainty and integral was very strongly fancied

I think the thing that did it for me was the fact that once you have placed the multiples, then you have something to copy and paste and it's easy enough to edit the amounts before pasting. That coupled with we haven't seen any big money lays on here which any normal person would have made in that situation.

swift.turtle, it's easy to create a pdf file and post it on here as an image, telling all it's a photo (it isn't), nor did he require the moderators blessing to post it as he stated. I did the same with the Mill Reef thread and could do the same again with any named horses, prices, meetings and times etc.

It's odd he posted after the event, not after the first four had won and he had a good few quid running on to the last leg. Wouldn't you post such news ?
