Just when you think life is hard along cones someone who not only is a Rangers fan but also Chapman's biggest fan, you get a sense of relief as on reflection your own life isn't as bad after all.

Chapman only opens his mouth when it's certain jockeys as everyone knows.

The sport needs characters... Not the arrogant sexist/pervy/sleazy likes of McCririck and Thommo.... Chapman can be a bit of a chump at times, but he's often amusing, he's good natured, reasonably knowledgeable... I like him

To bracket Matt with Alice is really so unfair - quite amazing how we see things so differently - one offers far more to this great sport than the other - if you cannot solve that puzzle then it is time to give up .....

Although he can be a little annoying at times (who isn't?) he's a breath of fresh air among the mundane, gravy train presenters.

Was talking to a lady owner at Henlow , who told me of a few comments he made about the size of that lady and tried to make a joke at her expense.
Only hearsay of course, but seeing him perform many times, rather likes to get a laugh whatever the consequence, is my impression.
Many complaints have resulted in his demise at Towcester i'm told.

I think Chapman is the most entertaining of all the TV pundits just wish he was with Racing UK instead of ATR.

I like Oli Bell as well who does a similar role on racing uk he's probably better on the big race days than Chapman.

But day in day out I prefer Chapman.

Saying that at the risk of causing a riot on the forum I also like James willioughy. I'm always curious to what he's going to say next and whether it might be interesting or not.

All the rest I go for the mute button including Lydia who I think asks too many questions. 3-4 Questions is Max that should be asked on a interview in the parade ring. Otherwise it makes me cringe as the interviewee in a lot of cases you can see clearly wants to go elsewhere.

Peter O'Sullevan was always piiisssed and a gambling addict....did a commentary in '63 in which he called Piggott a 'useless kkunnt' He'd had his fee on the long man. Disgraceful.

I like loads in racing. Geraghty's a gent, I don't rate him highly but STD seems a very nice lad,  many similar I like to see do well. It's the self absorbed ones like Chapman who I refuse to listen to as many sheep do.

Chapman should replace Nick Luck on C4 racing and we can hear the real questions being asked and not **** foot round these trainers and jockeys like Luck does, if C4 what they ratings up Chapman is the man.
