marko69, if you have anything about you then you will take on board the sound advice given by big aitch at 4.02 pm, very easy to get carried away when it appears people are waiting on your advice each day, much better to stick to what you know best and avoid the temptation to make a selection to appease others.
By your own admission there was no play today and your profit figure has been almost halved by trying to force a lay at the request of others, it will take four successful lays to recover your previous position and it is all so unnecessary, discipline and knowing when to and when not to play are most people's downfall on here, don't become another statistic because you feel the need to play to the audience, be your own person and stick to your own rules and parameters, if there is no play for 3 or 4 days so be it.

Very good lay you posted today, I made 159 in the race, due mainly to your suggested lay - well done mr!!
I've done 2 small bets for tonight just for interest, backed liverpool 2-0 at 6/1 and going for over 3.5 goals in madrid game at evens

A great aftertime by marko...won £159 by laying a horse that he failed to mention on here

Ive discredited dozens over the years as you've no doubt seen,cos most on here are clueless dreamers who talk absolute sh1t.
I started by asking marko if he actually laid these and could he prove it by posting his bets? If he had i'd be the 1st to say 'well done'.
I personally cant see any problem posting the actual bets becos there's little difference between saying you are and proving you are.You've nothing to hide.
Then there's a dead heat and he cannot work it out,then he says he lays for £100 but has £50 at bigger odds in running,if so how does your p&l rise by 1 point?

The P/L recorded on this thread and the other one has nothing to do with the bets I place, I place the lay minute before race then bet during in play, the result of which has no reflection on the P/L on the thread, its at BSP win or lose.... no manipulation whatsoever

The other thread is now up 23 points and all proofed before race yet you still get idiots like yourself making ridiculous statements hoping to get attention.

i think its a huge pity he feels he cant put up with the  hassle . As i tend in my punting not to lay it wasnt a thread that was either going to cost me cash nor make me any but as an exercise in picking one horse a day and trying to make 5pts a month it im sure like me intersted a lot of people on here. Some may even see this as the holy grail after all most of us if we are realistic would settle for that . The facts are quite simple he posted if memory serves me well ten lays over the jumps a lot of them like jezki shorties .They all lost .Some people reading the thread were suitably impressed and said well done even myself and i wasnt betting them ,i just thought hes really good . It was invevitable of course picking shorties one would lose it did . What i dont understand is why as soon as one lost the vitriol started and the nit picking . I post occasionally on here mostly around horses ive had a good word for that are fit fancied and in a race that connections think that can win .Some win ,some lose .I so far havnt got too much grief that the likes of marko and others like koi get ..perhaps ive been lucky .
i put up what are my thoughts and dont check every thing i say in case i might have made a slight error about a horse .I never put up a horse that i dont actually back myself so i assume that others posting stuff act in a similarly honourable way .Wether i put on a tenner or a thousand something i must say i never do isnt the issue . I post my information .if i win im pleased if i lose theres always the next horse .
what i dont get really is why anyone after a horse loses then tells me why the selection was flawed .. i mean if they knew this before the race they wouldnt have taken any notice of my post would they ,,, simply thinking what does he know .

i read the forum because im interested in horses and also in people .. all human life is here ,the good the bad and the indifferant . I suppose the big question is why the people who put up their selections do so .Is it ego .so they can bathe in the glory after a winner or simply a way of filling a thoughtful few moments .The big big pity is that im sure there are some who dont post that do perhaps have a story to tell who think why should i make the hassle .So another intersting thread bites the dust ,it was profitable if you followed it , if you didnt it really shouldnt fuss you .i wish you well marko .. the real mistake y made was putting up profitable lays not knowing that when one lost you would get hassle,,, at that point you should simply have ignored the crap and posted the next lay .and the next lay . and the next lay . The bitterness and rancour of the critics im not sure from where it really comes but thats for another thread i think ..

I sometimes put up a  selection  now and then but on the Cheltenham forum which has hardly if any trolls thank fully and all posters I have conversed with have so far offered a balanced view if they disagree with the selections chances they will put in input before the race and as the races are ante post there is plenty of time to get their views in pre race . most times I put up a selection in the hope of getting usefull input and to eke out other info that I may have missed or not been privy to . regarding marko and his 1st 10 lays which were all succesfull ther would have been clowns who had followed the thread just wainting for him to hit a loser ,didn't matter if he had 10 or 1000 succeesfull lays in a row the clowns would still have reacted in the same way ,I think its a bit of jealousy and the trolls probably didn't have the ars hole to lay such short priced horses/favs  who on paper had very good chances of actually winning .

I will reiterate..

Why if someone puts selections on a forum cant they post the actual bets/acc statement when requested to prove they actually do these bets?  Going by the evidence of absence im entitled to think otherwise.

Today was a typical day that started with hassle about people not proveing by posting their bets ... i said i didnt know how to but that i was putting a hundred quid on a horse running in the last at dundalk . This wasnt the fav nor the second fan it was when i posted it about 8s . i directed your and yr ilk to the post i had put up where it said this horse was fit fancied and off for its life... a tiny irish stable ,not an obvious form choice nor indeed a guess which y seem to indicate some on here do . I as i said backed it ... now sods law might say it loses ... but this time it didnt . So was i guessing a race that no.one at that time of night was interested in .... if it had been beaten by a nose im sure the squeeals of joy would have poured from the detractors lips ... as i said i backed it to the stake i said ... but i could be lieing , i could be guessing ... but the thing is im not doing any of that , others on here are exactly the same ... i did ask you to simply put up a horse dureing the day to let us see yr true colours ,,, i note you didnt ,,, 50 or so races not a single suggestion that to me speaks volumes ... i think yr looking for things that arnt there ..
