giggs the 4.45Kempton backed the second, thought it ran really well, a race to keep on side with?
I don't really know to be honest as I stick to times over these distances when betting and very rarely if ever look at collateral form obviously a lot of these races are run at no pace so that means I don't have that many bets in these types of races.
The time was just run of the mill not something I would be noting,but I havn't seen the replay of the race or how it was run,time was almost identical to the last race the fav won over c/d.
The more I see this thread title the more ridiculous it seems.
This is the problem with " tips " on this forum. Muppets like this guy but up things that "can't lose" rather than discussing the race properly. Ask for all they get imo.
His followers have been very generous by not putting the boot in, imagine if mart or bondy or mt had posted such guff, meltdown. Some of em must be smarting though.

It may be surprising but they do, people often say "thanks, followed you in" to quite a few on here, blinkered to pretend otherwise.
But to be fair saddo most say that after the event not before.
Aye, they do, fair to assume they follow more times than when they post thanks, unless they only back the winners.

Its 1.01 if the beast won he would have posted since and possibly played with himself to the praise

Paul is very busy at this time of year so we may not here from him for a while, he's an actor.
Unfortunately there are people who see someone posting in paul's style and they will blindly throw their hard earned at his selections.
When he started posting with comments like 'the city boys will be disappointed if this gets beat' you realised he was either taking the p*** or he had something else in mind. This forum is good at sniffing out scammers and maybe that is why he changed his posting style.
I've no doubt he will be back, maybe after the pantomime season.

Putting up an even money as a tip is pointless.
Selecting a 2 year old maiden (rated 78) who has now been beaten in 3 egg and spoon races on the all weather as a 'lump on-this will win' was 'typical betting shop losing punter' mentality.
Now stating you will be on it next time is almost bordering on the ludicrous

And the other point anyone considering backing him next time out may like to consider is his pre-race demeanour. I don't know what he had been like before his previous races, but at Kempton he was a bit keen to post, appeared to be sweating, and fretting about going into the stalls.
I couldn't say it had stopped him running his race as the winner just looked a superior animal both physically and what he can do when his mind is focussed by the blinkers, but I didn't like the look of him.
Physically, at least compared to the winner, he's not the biggest.
As for being a short runner, at Ponte on his debut over a stiffish 5f, he had finished his race off well, albeit closing on horses who had run their races and were slowing down. Ridden more prominently over 6f at Kempton, he has been nailed late on twice but has still beaten the others well enough, so probably a bit harsh to call him a short runner, and he's clearly up to winning a winter AW maiden at the least, if his demeanour allows. Imo.

I agree Dickie, cuz it would be ridiculous to say you're going to back any horse next time out given you don't know who the opposition will be, draw, distance, odds...
Bloke makes an absolute arse of himself and after a couple of days is forced back on to play the "haters" card, not a hint of regret about his choice of words, pathetic.

His demeanour again, sweating and playing up in the stalls. Missing a beat at the start didn't cost him the race like Weaver said, it was then taking off with Gibbons and not settling.

I can obviously see why people think he's a short runner, but he didn't look one when finishing strongly at Ponte. Imo they want to geld him, give him a break and teach him to settle, cuz at the moment he's just not helping himself.

Nethertheless Paul does create a vast amount of interest on this site and i aplaud him,i must admit i didnt back his selection or i may have taken a different view!

Well the gelding op seemed to do the trick and he proved he wasn't a short runner by winning over 6f at Ponte, and he's an improver according to RP ratings, but someone has paid £24K for him and sent him to Richard Rowe!
I don't know if that is a positive or not, but I note RR's last 4 Flat runners have been beaten an aggregate of 65l!
