if u put 1k on at 10s with 365 last night it would be 6/1 in seconds ,then people see its from a gambling yard and follow the money it would be easy to get it really low so u can lay it
anyone who would back him or cathedral at 2/1 is insane,i only did em coz i thought there was a chance they might be set up to land a touch coz of there trainers and if they had at 10/1 and 12/1 its worth a punt ,but with stables like that your completly guessing so u need to get a good price

That was only John Wainwrights 7th winner from over 400 runners. Even if you spotted that gamble, how can you get involved with a trainer with a strike rate that poor?

If I was the handicapper i'd take into account Prohibition's latest couple of runs....and bang it up 2 stone

his it running again tomorrow.

that winner though was only 10 lengths behind a R varian 1 thats rated 73 and hes run alright in maidens and ran of 45 with 7lb claimer
to be honest i didnt even look at the form properly last night ,i find it really hard to get into sometimes unless im stoned
and then i love it and can spend like 5 hours studying

tiger reigns tommorrow should win at least got baker on board but last time was the time for a decent price

My main bets are on low grade AW hcps & you really would have to be stoned to fancy that winner, hindsight is a wonderful thing & yes there are glimmers of ability in a few runs  but every horse in the race has shown some sort of form at sometime, but its been 100/1 in eight of its 15 races & never shorter than 33/1 with a trainer with an awful record, the few slightly better runs  would not be enough for  anyone  bar someone in the know to find that one.

i had prohibition 2 runs ago and he missed the break and then ran next day and was like 6/4 ish and thought today would be his day for landing a touch coz last 2 times he was a chit price and they either gambled him and didnt land it but i thought maybe the price was missed last 2 times so didnt want it to win  so they changed trainer  and today would be the day and a decent price
then i woke up and seen pipers was the one hammered but i thought maybe done that to make sure they got a price on prohibition and i put bets in for  11s and 19s on prohibition and then i just seen he went of at 28s WTF

maybe they did get the lot today on sp

im speechless delta,god knows what their up to with these horses.

had to laugh at mcnae saying prohibition would make the pace for pipers piping.

There was a very long thread on here, one day around 18 months, or two years ago - when one of his (with precious little form) was well-backed at Morning Prices.

He came onto the thread claiming he, and his syndicate of owners, had NOT backed it - there then ensued a thread of 'Call your bluff' - as some believed, and some did not.

The horse lost - and never won (from memory)

He had several others that seemed to get similar attention - but the (his) whole set-up seemed to be a bit 'spasmodic' - when you looked at all that he had owned, over the years - although he did have 20 winners from 260 runners over the past 5 years.
Most, indeed practically all, were trained by Alastair Lidderdale.

He then appeared to disappear (if that is not a contradiction in terms ) - and it looked as if his Racing Club had closed down - with some of his horses ending up with John Butler .... but NOT going through the Sales Ring.

Did they  not say might retire horse after very dissapointing last run ? u cannot make it up tbh

pipers piping and prohibition both used to be trained by a lidderdale,same owner white with the green stripe.

Delts, cheers for the PM yesterday, I've only just worked out what PM actually means so have only just seen it! Slightly disappointed with both  yesterday's tbh and today's runner, wonder if the stable's slightly under a cloud. Although very unlucky with your Saturday Lingfield runner.

And then Prohibition goes and wins the 20.48 at Aqueduct this evening -at a much shorter price! :-)

akdam - 2.4 was the key [that cheltenham listed run showed it]

in fact i have noticed a lot of the juveniles now against the elders are performing better at 2.4 - even the useless yaks

i remember this thread , his horse was backed heavily and pulled then nto was short enough about 2 weeks later and lost but i think you,l find it did win one race at Brighton 2 races later from memory , cant think of the name though

Stewards fined the trainer £140 because 'the record of vaccinations in the passport of Prohibition did not comply with the rules of racing'!!!
Why was it allowed to run then?
And in what way did the records not comply?
