Please help! I'm really confused! I could be going crazy, I don't know!

I might be getting mixed up but I'm sure I backed "Discussiontofollow" and thought I'd lost £4 cos it didn't win.

When it didn't show up on my statement I found out that it was a non runner.

I could be mistaken but I'm sure the odds were changing for it in-play which made me think it was doing crap.

So can anyone shed any light on this???

Happens quite often when a horse is withdrawn close to the off, Betfair don't have time to suspend/withdraw the selection from their market so it stays in there and the Rule4 is applied to others after the race.

If it was withdrawn just before the off nothing to be surprised about.People will back owt in running, some have just been taking 1.01 on the wrong horse.

a regular occurence

Haha that's crazy! So people were trading on a horse that wasn't even running! Not everyone watches the racing so I bet a lot of people thought it was running like I did???

Thanks guys, it's much appreciated! I feel like I've just won £4!!!Happy

sheepy - some of the stupid BARSTEWARDS who bet in running on a late withdrawal think they're being smart in trying to get the reduction percentage to be higher. Some smart minds on here

If you can back a non-runner into short odds in-running with the cross-matching bots it will help inflate the odds on your 'runner' which will not be subject to a reduction factor, smart imo.

Phew! Thanks guys! I've got a lot to learn haven't I???Happy

I only tend to check my statement when I get a winner, so I bet there's been times when I've thought I've lost money when I haven't???
