If tracks double the price why don't they have a scheme where racegoers who leave before the concert are given a voucher for free admission to a future fixture?
That should please pretty much everyone except those who have travelled a long way and are infrequent visitors to the track in question. |

Well I saw the Beatles, the Ronettes, Del Shannon & Jimmy Tarbuck all on the same bill for 4 shillings, so would not be interested in seeing these Brownies for Girls for £20 - no chance

The gate receipts shows it works well for the courses.People that are against it are in the minority.
Same as I wouldn't pay extra,to be extra uncomfortable,for a festival meeting,although,again,gate receipts stand up. We have the choice of going on many other days,so why worry about concerts and festivals! |
