seriously the more people that contact the BHA the more chance of getting that idiot at least suspended( preferably by his testicles).
|
By:
i will be sending an e-mail.
|
By:
me too, already done one to RUK to ask why the 2 clowns quickly laughed it off and moved on with their meaningless drivel.
|
By:
I'll try and get a letter printed in the Post.
|
By:
Well done Duvachelle.
|
By:
when it gets personal and affects ones winnings - Trixie and Lucky 15 dented a bit bilbo it concentrates the mind. Nearly as mad with those 2 in the studio going on about anything but something important.
|
By:
Doesn't matter - its only punters money after all.

|
By:
If its up the creek he decides by eye .............
|
By:
On the bha site it says 20 minutes approximately
|
By:
Images can be available approximately 20 minutes after the race.
- Only races where a photofinish is called will be displayed. However, photos from all other races are also available upon request. - The images we display are low-resolution versions of the images the judges analyse. Thus, in certain extremely close cases, the photos may not be conclusive as to the reason for the result given. However, on the racecourse the judges have advanced technology which allows them to zoom very close to determine a winner. In the case of a very close verdict, the Judge is perfectly willing to go through the evidence of the result with connections, should they wish. Cmon Dave we are waiting |
By:
if i owned Extra Noble I'd be up there in the judges box.
|
By:
Very suspect. Must save the bookies a fortune halving their liability on a winning favourite
|
By:
I'm not sure that we are going to see a print
|
By:
The 8-50 photo has appeared that says it all, they dont want you to see it
|
By:
It was a somewhat STRANGE announcement of the Race Result, though.
Not even sure that I heard, the USUAL ... "Here is the Result of the Photo-Finish."... well, I would say that, I did NOT. Just remember hearing .... "the JUDGE was unable to split them (or very similar words)- A Dead-Heat." CORRECT me, if I am wrong - - or, perhaps RUK did not open their Course microphone quickly enough even - and missed any .. "Here is the Result of" - etc BUT - if that were the case - then he would HAVE had to have made his announcement almost immediately. that the race finished - if that were the case. |
By:
onlooker, I recorded the show tonight, he said "here is the result of the photo finish, judge couldn't split em"
|
By:
Still no photo on the BHA site, the 20:50 photo is on there tho. Uh-oh.
|
By:
* I agree with biscar
|
By:
Thank you - wondersobright.
I have just watched the Replay, on RUK - but they did not include that part of the original broadcast. Just heard him say ... "Photo" - as they flashed past the line - then RUK switched to the studio voice-over on the Replay. |
By:
He must have got a lift home with bookies and stopped for a few drinks on route.
|
By:
he called a dh last week i think, said exactly the same thing which struck me as odd then, i thought he was the judge so why is he talking about himself in the 3rd person?
|
By:
punters have every right to see the photo someone some where must have made the decision
not to show the photo finish print. he or she should be made answerable for that decision or made to explain how that decision could be reached if there was any doubt about the result. racing does not only have to be run scrupulously fairly it has to be seen to be run that way. could you see the punters in indian racing putting up with being treated like this. i for one would be willing to support a boycott on backing on horse racing till satisfactory answers are given and if need be heads should roll. i don't have the technical knowledge to organise it but i would be quite happy to sign a petition that any one more capable than myself would like to draft to bring to the attention of authorities the the lack of confidence punters have about the circumstances surrounding the declared result of this race and the lack of the usual conclusive photographic evidence to back it up |

e-mail the BHA.

By:
I have e-mailed them Roger,no financial involvement for me( I actually greened up for a tenner in the photo )
We need transparency on this, at the moment it stinks of a cover-up and until they publish the print it will continue to do so imho. |
By:
I've sent an email about this to the bha at info@britishhorseracing.com.
Any other suggestions as to where I should send an email? |
