F**king useless, slightly missed the break and let the horse get swamped, rode it too far back and the best horse in the race comes fifth.....different story if Mr Fallon was on board maybe folks?

British jocks among the best in the world? Not at all if you went on the BC/Melbourne Cup evidence.

Very average in my opinion, that's why most over seas trainers put the Aussie jocks on because they know how to ride.

Hard to single him out, he had half the field as his accomplices.

Horse not the ideal type for the race, you need something a bit lazy, if you see how he was tanking before the straight, if Ryan had buzzed him up early to get a handy posi, he would have been miles too free with him & all the horses best efforts have been when held up when there's a gallop on, they only go quick for a furlong or so here, then they ALWAYS drop into pairs & crawl down the back, so you want something to drop the bit immediately when you ease off them. Cumani/Koukash cant blame the ride there, the horse is always going to find a race like that really hard & I think he did well to finish fifth from the way the race was run.

Did you not see the York race Mt Athos won, jonjo? Slowly run affair, he was always on the pace at the front, & he quickened away decisively. It was a poor tactical ride but wouldn't think Fallon would have done much better given some of the appalling rides he's produced recently.

Only just watched the race.
A 2 mile race becomes a sprint up the straight after crawling.
How on earth do the jockeys at the back think they can possibly make up lots of lengths in these types of races.

Frankel could have won that rubbish.
