Doncaster clerk Jon Pullin says "the next hour will be key" to see if this afternoon's meeting can go ahead as more rain hits the track.

donny probably takes rain better than anywhere however as surely no one will turn up in this they will hopefully do the right thing.

Newcastle - heavy showers early morning, currently overcast. Clerk of the course at Newcastle stated meeting should go ahead Saturday 28th July (Ladies day), however meeting on Wednesday 8th August could be in doubt.

It's lovely down yer in Zummerset - bit humid but warrrm...

persistent heavy rain last 40 mins in Manchester....not a breath of wind...just had to go and have a walk out back in my t-shirt and shorts as it looked so refreshing after very stuffy night

Tanking down near Leicester, they did the right thing abandoning Saturday early.

Met off ice have heavy rain for Haydock right through into the evening.  Surely won't be raceable but they wont want to give them 30 quids back!

Aye but the good Lord makes sure the sun shines on the righteous.

Still OK in Somerset but we don't have any flat courses apart from Bath which is not in a proper county these days. We are expecting heavy rain tomorrow though. Sandown may not get much rain but the other courses are in trouble.

8 miles from Donnny, it's hardly stopped raining last 12 hours, hammering down as I write, they might abandon yet, especially when they see they have no runners left in some races!!
