people said he should have been retired 12 months ago
|
By:
he did but then backtracked very quickly
|
By:
No he didn't.
He said he would have thought he will retire. He pre-empted fat Al saying it if you listen again. |

He doesnt want to say it straight after and rob the headlines from Synchronised - the winner of a poor gold cup.
|
By:
I think at the age of 12 we can safely say he won't be getting better, or even holding his form.
|
By:
should say a la Dessie after he fell in his last King George.
|
By:
Thought when the screw was turned on Kauto ,he would start feeling the after effects of that fall
|
By:
I think it's absolutely laughable that people keep spouting about a poor Gold Cup.....did not read one sentence or hear anywhere to suggest that before the event.. yes you will find someone somewhere who suggestedit but it was hardly the widely held opinion.
|
By:
If he's oka, fair enough but you wouldn't want to see that again at Aintree or in Ireland.
|
By:
People saying poor Gold Cup when a lot of us have said that we have been spoilt in the last few years. Synchronised a good thorough stayer
|
By:
any word on what was actually wrong with kauto???
|
By:
jumped the water & pulled a muscle according to the owner
|
By:
thx bish

People have been utterly spoilt with the likes of Kauto and the mighty Denman ruling the roost for the last 5 yrs or so,not to mention other high quality beats like Imperial Commander and Long Run himself. To see a KS AND a Denman in the same generation never mind the same lifetime is quite something that people will reflect on downt he line.
Well done to the winner though, out stayed them all and was hardly unfancied before the off. |

CLIVE likes the limelight so i wouldnt rule out kato retiring.

Nicholls has just changed his story mid-interview. One minute it was an over-stretch at the water jump and then it was something that had been niggling away at him....
