They will read the comments, and then decide what a good idea it was to replace the tab.

This totally sums up Betfair.

In 2000 Betfair was set up to allow punters a new approach to betting.

Now they are no better than the other parasites (who use FOBT's) trying to steal money off people by advertising slots.

Hope they go tits up but i doubt they ever will.

The betfair forum is criticised by many within the racing industry. Yes, there are idiots, folks like myself, but there are many clever punters on here, and others who are not afraid to speak their mind on controversial issues. I mean speaking their mind in an articulate manner without resorting to swearing. They do exist here, although blinkered gravy merchants may disagree.

My guess is, betfair don't want clever posters educating us mere losers about bad things in racing and about the betfair site itself. Lets make things as difficult as possible for users to post messages, while continuing to pretend everything is perfect.

Whatever betfair say, I totally disregard. I have no faith in a greedy operation who are nothing more than a service for milking punters for all their worth in the quickest way possible.

Enjoy the forum while it is still here.

I think the Betfair forum is what keeps many punters here - for me it is the reason i enjoy punting small amounts on every race ....

There are many intelligent folk here who are commercial savvy - they can see how despite being market leaders with a technically fallible product they still are prepared to sacrifice the intangibles (the forum) for immediate profit gain.

I wish I could meet theses dreadful money driven suits that are making these decisions but of course we never will ...

I'm sure "VP Slots" has been lobying hard for this and got it - well Adrian or Darren - whatever your name is - once racing goes there is nothing left - I certainly won't be here and i am sure many others won't be.

Put the forum TAB back now or better still make more room for it ...

Then at least you can draw in the really desperate addicts to you gambling equivalent of a heroin shooting gallery which you so desperatley crave.

Betfair, you are becoming more and more a disgraceful company.

How much disrespect, nay, contempt do you hold for your customers?

For the life of me if you want more icons then a simple put aleft and right scroll arrow which allowsyou to have as many icons as you wanted and I and every body else can easily get to community and not slots which I will never use.

Re. tabs in general - If there are tabs for "Horse racing" and "In Play" why do horse races get switched to In Play when you're betting before the "off"? When the race is off you should go to the in play market. I never want to bet in play but sometimes am tricked into it by the market switching to in play .

Feel sorry for BCM2 who is trying to breathe life into the forum by organising various forum competitions over different sports (think he mentioned there will be a daily Cheltenham competition on here) only to see his efforts scuppered by bl**dy 'Super Slots' Beggars belief.

Out ot 10 tabs 6 are now devoted to online games.
Why dosnt betfair just have a separate website for this trash?

Why don't you stop this farce?

If you don't want people to bet on horses just remove the racing markets.

First you whack people with Premium Charges, then you do a cross matching bot to skim the markets, then you won't pay out because of a "technical error" now you have 60% of your tabs on games. Why not just remove Horse Racing and put Bingo in it's place?

waste of time inviting our opinion. As we are going to say YES I'd rather have a Superslots tab instead of having a button that makes it easier to access the forum. Not that I'd expect anyone to read this since you haven't bothered to acknowledge my thread on site feedback which I have posted below in case you missed it.

Memory Leakage Slowdown Symptoms Are Back

The problems the users were experiencing last year highlighted on several threads where prolonged usage of the site lead to a complete slowdown appears to have returned over the past couple of weeks since the last lot of 'enhancements'

some may say they never went away but personally usage of the site speeded up considerably towards the back end of 2011. It seems we are back to square one.

Are we going to have yet another year of pain?

By:

When: 11 Mar 12 19:37
So, the clear view is get rid of the super slots tag and revert to the 'community' link.  And while you're about it, how about calling it 'forum' rather than the saccharine, sickly inaccurate term 'community'?  I'm not part of your tribe, neither are most of your punters - we come on here to read and post on the forum.

Apologies Facts
Thought you said you only did the top class tracks & graded races

True. My main betting activity is focused on Class 1 to 3 Handicaps at Grade 1 Tracks. Will bet in other Hcaps though(inc AW), if no qualifiers in the aforementioned.Happy

If you have to promote slots (can't believe people actually use their hard earned on those kind of things) why can't you put an extra menu option between Arcade and Super Slots?  If the menu would be too wide use the word 'Forum' instead of 'Community' and just call it 'Slots' and not 'Super Slots'.

I dont like the new community I much prefered the old one, its not always easy to navigate to the classic forum. Why do Betfair meddle with things which weren't broken.

I can't believe the new community wasn't principly changed to impress people under seventeen. What next? you wait their next inovation will be the forum only works if you use twitter (whatever that is) and you have to text your message via a mobile phone, and your message wont show unless your walking along the road, not looking where your going while you text, though that last bit goes without saying.

My main reason for remaining with Betfair is the forum and you are trying to ruin that! I only use the old forum and even that is becoming increasingly difficuilt. Why do you need to change things? It is clear from this thread the feeling over this is it not?

This is so frustrating - I click on the link which is difficult to spot on the tab bar and this bloody pop up comes up which is half the size of the previous one. The only way I can scroll down now is if I increase the size of the pop up - absolutely bloody ridiculous and takes twice as long (it takes long enough to load as it is).

This forum is an essential tool for all Betfair's customers , it's important to us and we don't like it mucked around with. The appalling Beta version is bad enough but this is the final straw. Reverse it now please Betfair. We are not interested in slots which certainly do not deserve the prime place on the tab bar.

They have obviously allowed us to post on this thread so that they can get feedback. Well it's pretty obvious (100%) that none of us like this change so if they are listening to their customers they know what the need to do.

I aint read any of the comments, but I think my opinion will likely be about the same as about 99% of posters. It's a P I T A

The P is for PAIN. I is for IN. T is for THE. You will be able to guess the A?

Who the F cares about slots. Get a grip BF
