Agree with BJG, absolutely no supply to him again. I don't like him either but if there is no service for him, which there hasn't been for the vast majority of the season there is not much he can do.

The bloke's main strength is getting on the end of crosses and if they don't come is he suppose to cross them to himself and then get on the end of them? Liverpool are a goal up early and quite content to play Carroll up front on his own so exactly what is he supposed to do when his 10 team mates are all sat behind him and the City defenders have the ball? They could play keep ball all evening between the City back four if there's only Carroll up front and he'd be wasting his time running back and forth where they just keep passing it to each other when he's outnumbered with no support.......add to that the City defenders are clattering into him from behind through fear of his aerial ability just for good measure and he's hardly been getting anything from the referee for it either. |

Of course it's all about opinions watchit but it's also nice to back up an opinion with a few facts too so would you disagree with me in saying Carroll's main strength is in the air and so he needs crosses to show that? Or was it a fact that he played up front alone for much of the game and was outnumbered by defenders?
Plus put it this way, how much did Michael Owen cost £0, how much did Andy Carroll cost £35million and how much did Fernando Torres cost, £50million? Owen has scored 17 goals of in 52 games for Man United, Carroll has 6 in 31 for Liverpool and Torres has 5 in 40 for Chelsea so you tell me who has been the better value so far? As for being a massive fan of Fallon, I'm not a massive fan of anyone's and have just said I don't think he did anything dodgy on the Ballinger Ridge ride, it was just a human error and I also disagreed with someone on here who said he is and always was an average jockey. Average jockeys don't win as many jockey titles as Fallon has......and that's not an opinion, that's a fact.  |

and youre prob right bazza, he doesnt score THAT many with head! his performance tonight was just disgraceful! its a licence to play absolutely sheet every match if we're gonna narrow it down to the fact that because he doesnt get the supply so it aint his fault!! how about dropping back and fooking running 10 yards to recieve it!, he had a great chance tonight and squandered it...the usual!! does he ever have a good game? absolute garbage and he will be out of l'pool soon! |
