Well back on track tonight. Win Profit today to £10 --- £76.67--- **** £177.49 on stakes of £590 -- 30.08 % --- each way profit today £117.71 --- **** £226.34 on stakes of £1180 -- **** 19.18%. Going along nicely profit wise despite recent losing run.
Have to go out early tomorrow and may not be back till late. Only 2 selections tomorrow both run late in any case 5.25 Ffos Las --- Fade to Grey 6.35 Hamilton --- Ever Roses Still looking for staking plans or anything else of interest that can improve. |
By:
Well done today KW. Interesting thread too - what the forum should be about. In terms of staking plans my view is very simple. Level steaks on all selections. I cannot make any logic of martingdale and other systems. Others will disagree no doubt though. Keep systems for selections not stakes. Good luck with this project.

Very good, kw!
One of the best threads I've read. Btw, I always back Fade to Grey, so beware, perhaps. For some reason it reminds me of former poster "Diddles". |
By:
so what do you think of fade to greys chances 2moro, sean
|
By:
I haven't looked yet, taipan, but I rarely feel that this animal's chances are related to form.
Tomorrow I hope to be at Tregaron, so I may not be bothering too much. FtoG has been a "nag me" alert for several years, btw. I'm no form guru, I'm afraid. |
By:
ok then, have fun
|
By:
Thanks Sean Rua and chester boys for your positive comments. Trying to keep it serious. Just back from hospital appointment so a reminder for todays selections
5.25 Ffos Las --- Fade to Grey 6.35 Hamilton --- Ever Roses |
By:
well done kw,i always back 5 per cent of my total bank?,good luck.
|
By:
my thoughts on the chances of fade to grey 5.25.
fade to grey was just 1/2 lenght in front of scotsbrook cloud 2 runs back and is 2lb worse off now and 7lb is claimed off aswell, i feel this is more than enough for him to reverse the form. fade to grey was already beat by strumble head on 1lb better terms, and although he maybe left his challenge to late that day, he was still beat. i cannot back a horse in a race where two horses have its beating in the HOPE it wins |

No good yesterday but no harm done in the scheme of things. Only 4 selections today ( 3 at quite big prices ) and I must admit to looking a little at the form when these came up as selections but they do appear to act to some degree on the likely ground so I remain hopeful.
3.30 Newmarket --- Son of the Cat 4.35 Newmarket --- Askaud and Sonoran Sands 7.40 Windsor --- Mrs Dee Bee Have also been having a look at the effect of betting at Betfair SP and it appears that even allowing for a 5% comm charge that there is an almost 4 points advantage. I will however for this purpose continue to use industry SP's |
By:
Good luck for today. It would be nice to see the system throw up a big price winner.
|
By:
Using industry S.P. is crazy...why not use betfair s.p...as u say 4 points diff already..one will win at 16/1 industry and pay 30 plus betfair..this is how u get ahead...
