Mr Knightley who makes his debut for the Roger Ingram stable has won his last two races at Kempton very easily in a class 6 handicap and claimer but a combination of a step up in grade and a hike of 11lbs could scupper his chances of the hat-trick.
Top weight Caldercruix showed improvement dropped into this grade last week and is back down to a winning mark but might be better over a furlong less. Distance winner AZRAEL who was a good second for Nora Looby (7) 11 days ago in cheekpieces looks well up to winning this with Seb Sanders taking over. Hasn't won since two on the bounce in Sept 10 in a class 3 off 83 and time must be close now down to 72 with a nice draw in stall 4 for a prominent runner with cheekpieces retained.. |

Quite a few winning next time out for me, so going with that in mind I have backed last Friday's fancy KHELINO 7-50 Dundalk. 11/2 Hold up performer who won't mind stall 8 and who will be better suited by tonight's 1m.. |

GUNG HO JACK 2-00 Ling 6/1 BOG
HAADEETH 2-00 15/2 BOG With my luck out with the washing of late I can't leave out last weeks fancy HAADEETH who played up in the stalls last Saturday and has Luke Morris back on instead of a 7lb claimer. Another one with a previous jockey back on is GUNG HO JACK, George Baker returns after winning on him in November and this lightly raced gelding who has won 4 from 16 races and is only 2lbs above last winning mark. |

3rd and 5th yesterday
DORBACK 3-00 Wolv 4/1 ALASKAN BULLIT 6/1 Aubrietia will be alot of peoples idea of the winner after her easy 5l winner 6 days ago but that was in an apprentice class 5 race with Willie Twiston-Davies knocking off 5lbs, up 6lbs today and tackles class 4 for the first time with Luke Morris returning. My idea of a decent bet against the favourite are DORBACK and ALASKAN BULLET. DOORBACK was only beaten a nk by the inform and half-decent Woolfall Sovereign on the 1st January in a better race and returns to that CD with a good draw. ALASKAN BULLET has only raced 9 times winning twice and is usually held up so a wide draw today won't be such an inconvenience, also had a good run in a class 3 over CD and looks well fancied to give the favourite a shock.. |
