It can be done just look at the SNP.Not in England it can't. England and also Wales, to some degree, shifted more to the right while Scotland went to the left.Labour got caught in the middle of that and got decimated as a result.

Well yes I like the SNP policies, and yes this is what Labour should have been leading the way with, and yes I hope those Tories within the labour party understand that if they move any further right, the English National Party will be born (why not)

The posturing empowered nationalist fervor and meant the tories played on anti scottish sentiment.It will be interesting how the snp tackles austerity 2 that will be thrown down on them now.
