I can see the attraction with the Pauling horse,if ever a beast was better going one way round,over-priced in my book.

Quite keen on Enrilo,on proper decent ground another that could out-run current odds.

Anyone coming out ahead on this card will have earned it,tough as they come.

Still some life in the old dog, Fab hopefully throw a couple of darts this afternoon.

It's been said on here plenty of times the ludicrous situation regarding Ground declarations. I'm sure there must be a device that can detect the % of water in soil. Use it & publish the results.

Season end for me, wp everyone this season, some cracking bets landed throughout.

Whilst in profit this season I can't help but think it could have been better and that I've given plenty back to the bookies than I should have done.

Antipost Bets
I made a modest profit on my Festival AP bets, but I calculated I threw away 15 points during the season proper, many never made it to post or ground had turned against them. Suckered by a big price.

Certain races
Every year I throw points away on certain races, Grand National & Pertemps are two that spring to mind, around 8 points every year. I don't have to bet on every race!!

February
I broke even this season for the month, normally I'm garbage and lose a dozen points or so, I should take a break.

Punchestown
I never used to bother and finished up at Sandown every year. I've been having bets these past few seasons and I never win, 12points lost this week. I'm just betting for bettings sake, I know I am done in and need a break.

Must do better!!

Personally I’ve struggled for motivation with this jumps season but really looking forward to the Flat.

Agree with a lot of that Mac, definitely a big problem for me this year, was bets for the sake of bets, just because of thread.  Ironically the reason I landed on here, as that was a problem I was having elsewhere on another site. Def be stricter next year. Not too worried about running my profit down at the end. That was a conscious decision…….was just so happy to get into profit after that horror run, and decided to be a bit hung go…..it didn’t work

Another loss on the season.

On balance a fair reflection,outside factors always come into the equation,pretty much off the pace throughout the season.

Missing large parts of the season never ends well,watching racing/replays remains the biggest single factor in my own betting.

Spending time over the summer months going back through the season can take forever,with plenty of WTF moments along the way.

Assessment,Planning,Implementation and Evaluation were my tools in another life.

Despite there being acres of room for improvement everywhere,I still think Evaluation holds the key,it can be a painful process at times.

A few seasons back I came up with 6 stone wall jackson bets over the entire jumps season,my strongest fancies.

All handicaps ... four were placed,one fell,one winner at 5/1.A stark reminder just how difficult it can be over a whole season.

Fab/GI ... Some interesting thoughts from you both,everything evens out over many seasons,your both way ahead on here in that time.

As always some cracking totals,testament to the work you put in everyone,nothing better than seeing it in black and white.
