Quito De La Roque will be considered for the John Durkan Memorial Chase and the Lexus Chase after his Down Royal win on Saturday.

Colm Murphy's seven-year-old stayed on best of all to win the Grade One Champion Chase over three miles at the weekend with Sizing Europe among his scalps.

And the Gigginstown Stud-owned gelding could drop back in trip for the 2m4f John Durkan at Punchestown in December, or stay at three miles for the Lexus at Leopardstown over Christmas.

"I was delighted with him," Murphy told

"It was nice to win at Down Royal on his comeback run and I'd like to think he can improve plenty from it. He's come out of it really well.

"He'll get an entry in the John Durkan at the start of December and an entry in the Lexus. We'll let the next couple of weeks decide where we go with him but he's got plenty of options."

Quito de La Roque is a 16-1 chance with Sky Bet for the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March.
