Yes I wish it was at another track but I will still be glued
My three against the field this year are:-
BUBBLY APACHE currently available at around 25/1
BALLINABOLA ED currently available at around 25/1
EMILYS JET currently available at around 50/1
I did back last years winner at the outset and he will probably go a long way this year at the only track he seems to really fire at but I can’t quite see him winning this time.
I was leaning towards LAUTARO, he’s definitely quick but I don’t think he relishes a battle sometimes (I could easily be wrong); my long shot was going to be DRAHBEG DANDY but he’s picked up an injury (not anywhere near as bad as the one he was off with before).

Well I did stick to my guns and never had a bet all throughout but if playing Id bet 2 and lay 3.

Well thats it for another year and all I can say is that the liquidity in the place market was pathetic for the so called biggest race of the season.

Never knocked the Don Malay I rarely missed a Meeting ,Never missed a derby Race or the trials ,It was not White city , But certainly a couple of Divisions above Tow .
They done the place no favours by Switching Sides and Closing the Grandstand .

no bother mate, i'd loved shawfield, preferred it to shelbourne and harolds cross, and i went to both Dublin tracks all week for 15 years, unless we were running in dundalk, never cared about facilities, it was the running track and hounds, however fast they were, whether it was derby dogs or front markers off 10 yards.

Watched dolores rocket biggest loser ever
Danced with Dolores after slippy won
(In the diamond bar) ....loser again
Some picture, honcho, westmeads, moral standards in the flesh...never to be forgotten great nights
