Might buy a young sapling by Premier Fantasy today, did a 2.06 sprint sectional in my backyard chasing a pigeon this morning, thinking of naming it EVEN BIGGER FANTASY, certain it will stay the 480 at the don. Would take 9/4, where can I find the odds for this event please ?.

You're right Fatty but dont think Derby as hot as previous ones, wide open and who would have thought Salad Dodger last year? At least Rock won the Monmore Puppy Derby. Bit young but place booked in Juvenile already? Monmore race thrown up some bright sparks and got more scope and potential than most. 500 but of an insult, imo

Thanks for all the good wishes gents.

Patrick

I'll be there on Thursday, watching through my fingers no doubt, and I'll try and catch up with you guys.

I know it's a cliché but qualification is all that matters. First 2 means absolutely no room for error or bad luck.

GLASGOWCALLING

Jeez - that's an old one. I think Outlaw Spice Boy was the start of Graham's love affair with Ireland. I was over at his "ranch" earlier in the year and it would be hard to find a better set-up. If hard work and dedication were the deciding factor the kennel would be winning the Derby every year.

Although not enjoying the Derby too much this year, still wrapped up in it - forgot about the FA Cup and Chester races

We need some stars to come through and one of the few that might is Eden The Kid? With plenty of well fancied dogs gone in the first round already, McNair's dog could have the scope to make 150/1 seem a laugh. Little to go off but he seems to have deceptive speed judged on his last trial and with first race throwing up fast times past 3 nights, odds could crumble

Bish had done nothing special ever in Ireland before Wimbledon and in fact reaching the Bar One Sprint semi final since is as good form as he has shown over here. You need to stop creaming yourself over greyhound derbies and expecting every dog that runs well / makes a final to go around cleaning up every other competition.
