From what i can see, Sky is only in Coral to show football matches to the **** take-away owner from next door, who has a ton plus per bet, as a small interest.
Would rather them scrap Sky and show racing from the Coral owned tracks and BAGS opens, than missing races when some obscure horse race is "off" sometimes. They must have about 12 screens in the shop and always switching channels, at head office, im told. Are you listening Coral? Dedicate one screen to Coral TV2 at all times! |

Horses & Greyhounds turnover are no longer the essential lifeblood of a betting shop. The 2005 Gaming Act allowing the increase of Casino type machines have provided them with vast profits. They now take the view - why take chances against anyone who they percieve to be a winner. They can now be described as mini casinos rather than a betting shop and accordingly, profits from machines should be heavily taxed, which may result in the betting industry becoming more friendly to the punter

Let's make it simple. A straight bet black or red roulette wheel, evens. Only "0" against you. The point is these machines are programmed, just like fruit machines, so youre telling me it doesnt know if you have got a ton on say black. I would be certain, if you took away the "0" over an indefinate period, you wouldnt break even to level stakes as you should. And, Mickey Mouse cartoon racing, the odds are fixed so if all the country backed number 1, do you think the computer would make number 1 win? It's all a con!

PS, i've watched them playing roulette. Tap, tap, tap, tap, chips here there and everywhere, then a few more scattered about, just for good measure. Brain-numbing and soul-destroying, what is the point? No skill involved, just luck
