rode an absolute stopper of a baulk from EOTS as well and he aint no small dog. i was impressed. Think it might be time to give EOTS a winter break and come back just before the derby now, that performance looked jaded to these eyes

Jimbo, totally agree. far be if for me to critisise a trainer...but...for a potential derby winner he's had a lot of running through the winter

Didnt he comment that he doesnt want to rest him else he loses his form? Brought him on magnificently, and given a half-length at the bend last night would have gagged up. You are right though, lots of racing up till now.

Some of these high class animals from late this year may really suffer over the winter...some of the pups will grow and mature and I am not sure the Derby betting will be quite as it is come may

Cupra...thats exactly the comment he made. However, whats it matter if he loses form in Nov/Dec? Surely he's not gonna run him 3 times a month all the way to the Derby? So he's got to lay him off sometime. I guess now is the time?
