1. Don't tell the trainers what runners they have until 48 hours before the race.
2. Don't put anything below A5 on the bags card.

Time spent at two of the top racing offices obviously well spent. Or not.

Still can't get on in Corals, sir?
Report 28dogs December 4, 2009 9:01 PM GMT
Erm, no - he has not learned anything. If you know how to grade a race correctly then silly restrictions like the above are not required.

I wonder if they learnt the rude man any manners ,probably not .
Report merde December 5, 2009 9:08 AM GMT
Some say he isn't rude just misunderstood.

He was when he said Lenson Bolt was not good enough to run in the Kent Derby.

He knows best.

maybe he should have spent 2 days being taught by the bolts owner as, i understand, he listened and learnt when he told him a few home truths.

isnt it funny how how he doesnt come across arrogant and rude to owners/trainers, when the owner/trainer in question threatens to pull the plug on race sponsorship and box bookings, if his dog isnt included in the competition?

what track???
Report CUPRA December 8, 2009 8:38 AM GMT
It rhymes with mittingborne

apparently the RM has issued his own rules to the trainers. It will now take forever to grade a dog in and he doesnt want to run anything less than an A5 race on a Bags card. Bad news for owners of lesser dogs as the money is obviously better on a Bags card. That said, more strokes pulled in lowest grades with unexposed dogs so he may be right.
Report scotchtommy December 8, 2009 3:09 PM GMT
The money is not really an issue ,as they pay one of the worst prize money on Bags,i would be surprised if he isnt under orders on what grade of races he puts on .
Report 28dogs December 8, 2009 8:36 PM GMT
Don't see the same restrictions being applied at other bags tracks. Perhaps they just have better RMs?
Report billywiz December 9, 2009 9:30 AM GMT
