no-one / not many (!) can view bags races so would be little to no trade in-running, plus you'd have the problem of people betting assuming it was pre-race, when it may be half way through

don't sky still do it for stayers races ???
Report The Weaver November 19, 2009 12:08 PM GMT
all sky races are in-running

must be a nightmare when u back a strong finisher with the last 2 bends coming up only to have a 5 second delay - requested 2.0 / got 12.0 after the leader kicked on and held on , bet taken as they cross the line knowing youv'e lost ???

Kwijibo,

Are you sure about the 5 second delay for greyhound racing ? It is 5 seconds for football but only 1 second for horses I think.
Report Kwijibo November 19, 2009 9:05 PM GMT
no , not sure - just presumed - don't usually play dogs after about 5pm as work nights - therefore dont do sky dogs.

1 sec delay i suppose isn't too bad but not much liquidity i guess ?

There would be a small delay no matter how they do it but, on the bright side, it would increase attendance at BAGS meetings (all on the mobiles punting the winners).

Can't see why At The Races don't offer regular BAGS coverage evry day to fill the gaps between irish horse races.
